The Hometowns program exceeded my expectations. I came into the program excited but nervous, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. By the end of the week, I had learned so much about the federal court system, Supreme Court cases, and the Constitution. I also became more comfortable asking questions and discussing legal issues with judges, lawyers, and other students. It was an experience I will always remember.

The most valuable piece of knowledge that I gained during this program is how differently the courts work than is portrayed in media. They are a much more civil and balanced process and it was amazing to see a system that has respect for itself in today’s world.

YES, I would 100000% recommend Hometowns. Specifically in school I’ve never been able to do such deep a dive into a single topic that I’ve actually been interested in, but here we were able to have such intellectual conversations with other students and professionals. If you’re even just starting to think you might be interested in law, try it! It’s free, why not?
