Social Media Internship

Description

The Society is seeking a summer intern to assist in developing social media content for the Instagram account @supremecourthistory from June through August 2026.

  • Location: In-person or remote
  • Hours: 20 hours per week
  • Benefits: Paid opportunity

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating a social media calendar for the next calendar year
  • Researching and drafting content related to the Supreme Court Historical Society’s mission
  • Collaborating with Society employees to gather and fact-check content
  • Gathering relevant images to accompany posts
  • Drafting content in the Society’s social media Canva templates
  • Assisting the Chief Administrative Officer and Director of Civics Education with other tasks, as needed

Eligibility

To be eligible for this internship, you must be:

  • An alumni of the Supreme Court and My Hometown
  • A high school junior or senior or a college freshman in the 2026-2027 school year

Skills

Candidates should have the following skills:

  • Well-versed in Canva and Instagram
  • Professional email communication
  • Attention to detail
